It appears though that Wheatley has indeed met with Harbaugh and was seen at Red Robin in Ann Arbor according to a person in a Scout forum.

There have been conflicting reports the past 24 hours over whether or not Tyrone Wheatley had met with Jim Harbaugh in Ann Arbor yet and if he had signed a contract to be the new Running Backs coach at Michigan.
Re Wheatley questions: no interview yet. No contract. That's from Wheatley himself. I'm not at liberty to comment further until process ends
