Rivals.com recently posted an article forecasting five college football programs that could have strong finishes to the 2016 class. Below you can see what Rivals’ Adam Gorney wrote about the potential finish for Michigan ($).
After his de-commitment from Ohio State, Michigan has become a legitimate contender for five-star RB Kareem Walker. Five-star DT Rashan Gary has liked the Wolverines for a long time. Nauta is also taking a closer look at Michigan and has already visited.
California could be ripe ground for Michigan’s recruiting class, too, as five-star LB Caleb Kelly along with four-stars Dylan Crawford and David Long, a Stanford commit, are in the mix. Four-star OG Terrance Davis is another name to watch among many others.
Michigan, currently ranked as the No. 6 class in the country on Rivals, would likely finish in the top five if they can somehow land the prospects listed above.
Three SEC schools (LSU, Alabama and Georgia) and USC were also are included in the article.
