Notre Dame redshirt freshman defensive end Jhonathon Williams will be in Ann Arbor visiting Michigan on Thursday, Scout.com’s Sam Webb is reporting:
Former Notre Dame DE and Berrien Springs (Mich.) native Jhonathon Williams has his release to #Michigan and will visit Ann Arbor tomorrow

Before originally picking Notre Dame, Williams, a former three-star recruit out of Berrien Springs, Michigan, was a target for Brady Hoke in the 2014 class.
Here’s the reason Williams was quoted as saying for his departure from South Bend:
“This was just a decision about family. My family has been going through some stuff and my mom is dealing with some stuff and I just want to be a little closer to home right now.”
