Defensive MVP: CB Jourdan Lewis
Everyone will be expecting Jabrill Peppers to be the MVP on the defense and he could be, but Jourdan Lewis is going to have to be a big contributor. The front seven is expected to be dominant, but Michigan will need Lewis to be a star corner in Durkin’s scheme. If he can force some turnovers and lock down team’s number one WR, this could become a very stout defense.
Runner-up: LB Joe Bolden
