Jabrill Peppers didn’t have the kind of freshman campaign many Michigan fans hoped for from the five-star CB and No.3 overall player in the 2014 class. Peppers was forced to redshirt last season after suffering a leg injury early in the year.

While recapping his visit to Ann Arbor, five-star CB Iman Marshall told Scout.com’s Sab Webb that Peppers informed him that he’s moving to safety next season ($).
Apparently Jabrill Peppers told Iman Marshall he's moving to safety next season. Interesting, but not a surprise really.

Per @Marcus_Ray29, @JabrillPeppers wanted to play safety last year, but went where he was needed more. "Jabrill can play anywhere" – Ray

If this news is indeed true, it means that the new coaching staff feels comfortable with Jourdan Lewis, Blake Countess, Channing Stribling and Terry Richardson at cornerback. Peppers would play opposite of Jarrod Wilson, who will certainly have one of the safety spots locked up.
