According to SB Nation’s Bill Connelly’s S&P+ model, Michigan has just over a one-in-four chance of winning the Big Ten East division.
The Wolverines are favored in the two remaining games (66% to Penn State and 55% to Ohio State) in the model. Likewise, Ohio State is an 80% favorite to win this weekend against Michigan State.
Multiply those three odds and you get 29% chance that Michigan wins the Big Ten East division in the S&P+ model.
