Greg Mattison was asked during the Michigan Coaching Clinic on Friday about Rashan Gary sporting a Maize and Blue uniform next fall. The Michigan D-line coach had the following to say about the No. 1 recruit:

Mattison also noted that the 6-foot-5, 295-pounder will start off at defensive end but may move to defensive tackle down the line for the Wolverines:
Rashan Gary will play defensive end when he first gets to Michigan. DL coach Greg Mattison says he could end up at tackle eventually.
