Freshman OT Gran Newsome Burns Redshirt Against Minnesota

Michigan played a bit of six lineman sets during Saturday’s last-second win against Minnesota. As a result, the Wolverines put in true freshman tackle Grant Newsome.

Grant Newsome's redshirt is gone. He was on the field as a sixth OL there.

Newsome, a former four-star recruit out of New Jersey, is listed as Michigan’s back left tackle.
