Justin Scott made the surprise commitment on Sunday as the top 10 2024 recruit announced for the Buckeyes. Scott, a Chicago, Illinois native, said that he was going to commit to Michigan before a visit to Columbus and talking with DL coach Larry Johnson:

Here’s what Scott told Hawes Fawcett:
“Going into the visit, my fam was heavily set on Michigan. Throughout the (Ohio State) visit they were really still set on Michigan. But towards the end of it, coach Johnson sat us down & went over an in depth plan that they had for me.”
A big sting for Michigan not only losing out on Scott but to their biggest rivals.
Michigan and Ohio State are also vying for four/five-star DB Aaron Scott.
