After sitting out a year due to an off the field issue and then returning in 2020, Chris Evans is expected to enter the NFL, Freep’s Rainer Sabin reports:
Michigan RB Chris Evans is expected to leave for the NFL instead of using the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA, per sources. The fifth-year senior entered this season with a Day 2 Draft grade from an NFL scouting service but gained 73 yards on 16 carries this season.

Evans, known for his explosive plays in Ann Arbor, saw action this year as a RB and WR. We wish the former four-star recruit the best of luck moving forward.
The Wolverines landed top RB Donovan Edwards and will potentially return all of Blake Corum, Hassan Haskins and Zach Charbonnet.
