Michigan Has New Front-Runner For The DC Job

Tim Banks – Penn State’s Co-DC and safety coach, Banks is a top recruiter in the area. It is unclear how much play calling he is doing for the Nittany Lions or if Brent Pry is doing it for PSU. Could get a serious look for the Wolverines as a position coach as well as splitting up the DC role with another coach.

Marcus Freeman – Freeman has helped Cincinnati become one of the fiercest defenses in the country. Probably in-line for a head coaching job soon, would Michigan look to a former Buckeye to shore up their defense?
