After Florida State unveiled their jerseys on Friday, the Miami Hurricanes followed in their footsteps on Saturday. The jerseys themselves are pretty sweet, but what they did to the classic helmet is an utter disgrace. How do you change such a classic look? Utterly moronic.

The players seem to like it, but the few fans that they have left certainly won’t.
UPDATE:
Apparently the two new helmets (white and orange) are alternates and their classic helmet will stay as their primary helmet. This would be the most logical thing to do, but it’s probably best to lead off with that information when making major changes to your uniforms.
These new helmets (the main point of contention) are options. Normal "classic" U helmets will still be in the rotation.
so, relax.

Looks like a green helmet will be worn too.
via @CanesCove Confirmed: There is a new green Miami Hurricanes helmet. It will be worn in the future, not this year. http://t.co/7uiBKnBHOf
