The MAC Offensive Player of the Year, Peny Boone, a RB for Toledo, recently added his name into the transfer portal. Boone, a Detroit native who started at Maryland before heading to UT, seems to want the two local schools (MSU and Michigan) to show interest.
Peny Boone, the MAC Offensive Player of the Year (1,400 yards, 15 TDs), is entering the portal.
He says he's open to any part of the country, but admits it "would be nice" if Michigan or Michigan State came with interest. https://t.co/M1jPLxhT9g

Fellow Detroit native and former Toledo QB Dequan Finn announced his transfer to Baylor recently.
With Blake Corum headed to the NFL and potentially Donovan Edwards, Michigan might be in the market for a running back this offseason.
We’ll see how things unfold but Boone, who rushed for 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns with averaging 7.2 yards a carry, is certainly a great option.
