The first Saturday of college football was filled with thrilling finishes and rain delayed games. During the Notre Dame-USF game in South Bend, a thunderstorm delayed the game two hours and forced fans to take cover, completely emptying the stadium. There was a second delay with 4:21 left in the 4th quarter. For a game that lasted over six hours, and in which South Florida eventually took victory 23-20, the Notre Dame faithful must be furious with today’s events. At least it wasn’t Touchdown Jesus that got hit.
