247Sports’ Clint Brewster is reporting that the son of Jim Harbaugh, Jay, has been hired to be Michigan’s next tight ends coach. MLive’s Nick Baumgardner also noted Jay’s now a registered employee at Michigan. A short bio from the Baltimore Ravens, Jay’s former previous employer:
Works with the offensive coaching staff, providing statistical analysis, self-scouting reports and breakdowns of opposing defenses. Was an undergraduate assistant at Oregon State before joining the Ravens in 2012.
The Mercery News has a nice write up on Jay turning down a position under his dad with the 49ers.
