Here’s The Reason Steve Clinkscale Is Heading To The NFL, Not Staying At Michigan

While reports surfaced this week that DB coach Steve Clinkscale had shared with players and coaches his intentions to stay with the programs, news broke Saturday that he would be joining Jim Harbaugh, Jesse Minter and many others in LA. While it was a holdup at first, it was the belief that Clink had a buyout that the Chargers eventually covered – and Clink, who was set to stay as the co-DC, liked the growth as a coach in the NFL.

My guy said the original LA offer was not covering his buyout. It now is. That simple.
