Harbaugh Reportedly Set To Sign Extension, Major Change To Contract

Jim Harbaugh is reportedly set to sign a contract extension with Michigan this week. While that has believed to be the case for quite some time, Harbaugh will apparently be taking 1/2 as much as part of his new deal going from $8M to $4M a year.

Source tells The Athletic Michigan and Jim Harbaugh are close to finalizing a five-year deal — expected base salary is $4 million. With incentives, he could get it back to $8 million. Buyout is expected to be low.
