Benjamin St – Juste, a former Michigan DB who transferred to Minnesota after several years in Ann Arbor, shares how the Wolverine medical staff ‘finessed’ him into medically retiring after several hamstring injuries and being cleared to perform on the field (saying that the program wanted to free up his scholarship):

Out of high school, St-Juste was a three-star prospect who Michigan found from a satellite camp.
St. Juste ended up with the Gophers where he earned a starting CB spot and eventually was drafted by the Commanders in the 3rd round. It ended up working out for St-Juste.
