A former five-star recruit out of Pennsylvania, Nolan Rucci, has entered his name into the transfer portal:

Rucci, a redshirt junior with two years of eligiblity, was arguably the most heralded recruit for the Badgers in recent memory. Rucci, ranked as the No. 17 prospect in the 2021 class, was in a battle with Badgers LT Jack Nelson for the starting job.
A Lititz, PA native, it is unclear who will be in contention for Rucci’s services this time around but he did pick the Badgers over Michigan, PSU, OSU and others.
