News broke Friday evening that the Ohio State – Illinois game had been cancelled due an outbreak of Covid at Ohio State.
If either of Ohio State’s remaining two games – Dec. 5 at Michigan State & Dec. 12 vs. Michigan – are canceled, Buckeyes would be ineligible for Big Ten title game, but ironically could still be chosen for @CFBPlayoff berth

If another Ohio State game gets called (they played MSU and Michigan), it could have a unique effect on the B1G Championship game:
Something now becoming a thing:
Unless the parameters are altered, if Ohio State misses another game this season, the Buckeyes are not eligible for the Big Ten title game.
IU and Maryland, the only other East teams with one or fewer losses, play tomorrow.
