Michigan landed a big coaching addition on Wednesday as nine-year OSU RB coach Tony Alford jumped ship and will join Sherrone Moore’s staff. It could already be paying dividends on the recruiting trail, too. According to On3’s EJ Holland, the No. 1 RB in the 2026 class has a close relationship to Alford and wants it to grow:
“I respect Coach Alford a lot, and hopefully the relationship will continue to build.”
