It appeared that Penn State scored the go-ahead touchdown against Nebraska late in the fourth quarter. Penn State’s quarterback Matt McGloin connected with Matt Lehman, who reached over the plane of the goal line with control of the ball before fumbling it. A Nebraska player recovered the football in the endzone. The play was ruled a fumble on the field and after being reviewed. This is a controversial call because it certainly looks like a touchdown. Nebraska won the game 32-23.
