Cade McNamara Rumored To Deny Helping McCarthy After Michigan Went To Him At QB

After JJ McCarthy overtook Cade McNamara for the starting QB job last year, the now-current Hawkeye QB apparently wasn’t too happy. According to Sam Webb, McNamara wouldn’t help out McCarthy after he reached out to him about getting help:

McNamara certainly did amazing things for turning around Michigan’s program and we wish him all the best with Iowa. McCarthy took the reigns at QB last year and it seems like all parties are better off.
