Kinnel, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound safety, saw action as a true freshman last year on special teams. The No. 3 safety heading into fall camp (behind Hill and Dymonte Thomas), Kinnel showed off his abilities during the spring game and will be needed to contribute this fall.
