Arizona State had their backs against the wall down 27-25 with 3:53 left and USC had just recovered the onside kick. USC then busted open a huge 53 yard touchdown, to give USC what seemed to be the win.
Arizona State then answered 19 seconds later with a 73 yard touchdown pass. They then failed to recover the ensuring onside kick and it seemed they would lose 34-32. Then after a huge stop, Arizona State got the ball back with 23 seconds left.
They got the ball over midfield with just 7 seconds remaining and threw a miracle Hail Mary touchdown pass as time expired. Jalen Strong did a phenomenal high pointing the football, but this was some bad Hail Mary defense by USC.
These USC bros were quite shocked.
Arizona State QB Mike Berkovice was just as shocked.
