Cornerback Cyrus Jones was arrested Wednesday on two charges of third-degree domestic violence.
Jones was booked into Tuscaloosa County Jail early Wednesday morning on one count of domestic violence/harassment and one count of domestic violence/criminal mischief. Each count carries a $500 bond. As of 7:30 a.m. CT, Jones is still listed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail’s inmate database.
Both charges are considered Class A misdemeanors.
The senior Jones was a key component to Alabama’s secondary, earning second team all-SEC honors

Jones arrest is Alabama’s fourth off-the-field incident this offseason. DB Geno Smith got a DUI, DT Jonathan Taylor was kicked off the team for second domestic violence arrest, and RB Tyren Jones also getting booted from team for a marijuana arrest.
