Alabama landed four-star DE/LB Justin Hill out of Cincinnati on Wednesday. Hill, the No. 60 recruit in the 2025 class, is certainly a tough loss for the Buckeyes with him out of their backyard.
OSU and Alabama, which have the top two classes in the country, have certainly been on a tear lately but losing Hill to the Crimson Tide has many Buckeyes uneasy:
Remember: you can’t get mad at Ryan Day for losing to Michigan, losing 20 years of lockdown control of Ohio’s best talent, blowing every game against top 5 teams, bad staff and roster management, or anything else.
You have to be happy with this or else you’re a bad fan.

In one word, how would you describe this, buckeye fans ?
“Diasaster” immediately came to mind for me personally. https://t.co/TpH418YkJe

It’s Alabama for Justin Hill. Tough in-state loss for Ohio State who I suspect will spend the next few months working to change today’s outcome.

OSU won’t land players they’re recruiting for the Jack position. They have to see it be successful before putting blind faith into it. Maybe things change here in the fall. Not over by any means.

Ohio State has worked tirelessly as a staff to try and impress upon Hill that the defensive plan with him would be different than it’s been the last two years. Clearly trusting that vision was not easy for him to do.
