With Nick Saban stepping down just a few days ago, Alabama has looked to have targetted several of the top coaches to replace the legend. However, with Lanning, Sarkisian and Novell all seemingly turning down the Tide, it appears Washington’s Kalen DeBoer is set to get the job.

Leading Washington to a National Championship game and a 14-1 season, DaBoer, a former Indiana offensive coordinator, will certainly bring a different offense to Tuscaloosa.
Washington officials spent more than two months in discussions with representatives for DeBoer on a new contract.
The last offer stood at $9+ million a year for 7 years, sources tell @YahooSports. DeBoer's decision – whenever he makes it final – will be about more than money.
