Both going into their third year in Ann Arbor, Mayfield and McGrone showed off their massive abilities in year two. Mayfield, who some have tabbed as a 1st rounder in 2020, held his own against No. 2 pick Chase Young. Mayfield will be a centerpiece for Michigan’s o-line next year. McGrone, meanwhile, showed last year that he could be the next Devin Bush and man the middle of UM’s defense. McGrone had 66 tackles and 4 sacks last year and those numbers should only go up.
