Stephen F. Austin beat VCU Friday night in one of the crazier finishes of this already wild NCAA Tournament. Down by as much as 11 points, SF Austin completed the comeback after Desmond Haymon was fouled in the act of a three pointer by VCU’s JeQuan Lewis in the final seconds of regulation. Haymon made his free-throw—-sending the game to overtime. Was he really fouled? There certainly wasn’t much contact, but the freshman Lewis should have never even contested Haymon’s shot. SF Austin would up winning in overtime, 77-75, making it 29 consecutive wins for the 12-seed.
