While Michigan is likely just starting its coaching search, there are have been some movement on a couple coaches. Nate Oats, Alabama’s headman, re-signed with the Crimson Tide. At the same time, Ohio State named Jake Diebler the permanent head coach and will no longer be looking. That leave Michigan and Louisville jobs as the two marquee openings. Dusty May, FAU’s coach who led them to a Final Four last year and an NCAA tounament this year, could be the front-runner to replace Juwan Howard with UL going after Drew Scott. As noted by the Twitter account Coaching Changes:
This previously unvetted and therefore untrusted source now has our FULL fucking attention so here’s what else he’s saying.
Scott has still not told Louisville no and will meet with them again before the tourney starts.
Dusty May to Michigan is gonna get very real very quick. https://t.co/eAA6IE5zwx

Other rumblings are Drake’s Darian Devries is going to get a serious look and Colorado State’s Niko Medved could as well.
We’ll update as we hear more.
