After LaVall Jordan was announced as the Milwaukee Wisconsin coach earlier today, Rivals’ Branden Hunter is hearing that University of Detroit Mercy assistant Jermaine Jackson Sr. will take over for the open Wolverine coaching position.
A source tells me Jermaine Jackson Sr., is headed to Michigan to become an assistant coach there. Was previously at Detroit-Mercy.

Jackson, a former standout guard at U of D, is from Detroit and played at Finney High School. He had a five year stint in the NBA (Detroit, Toronto, Atlanta, New York & Milwaukee), and coached at Mount Clemens High School before working under Ray McCallum (who was recently fired) at Mercy.
Jermaine Jackson Jr., his son, is a point guard in the 2017 class and holds a Michigan offer.
