Mo Bamba, a five-star center and the No. 2 basketball recruit in the 2017 class, visited Michigan earlier this month. While many of the elite teams are going after the New York native (Kentucky, Duke and others), the Maize and Blue could be in the driver’s seat, according to a source of Brandon Justice of Landof10.com:
“I would say my confidence is about an eight out of 10 right now that he chooses Michigan,” the source told Justice. “Texas, Kentucky, Duke and Harvard are all still there.”
The Wolverines currently have three members to their 2017 class in PG Eli Brooks, SG Jordan Poole and PF Isaiah Livers. All three Wolverine pledges were on campus when Bamba was in town.
