Michigan’s long run in the NCAA tournament could pay major dividends for its recruiting efforts for the 2019 class. The Wolverines recently offered five-star forward Keion Brooks, the top player in Indiana:

Likewise, Michigan also received a crystal ball prediction for five-star 2019 small forward Jalen Wilson, who is ranked as 247sports’ No. 15 recruit:
Here’s what Wilson told Zagsblog about the Wolverines:
“I talk to assistant coach [Luke] Yaklich and head coach John Beilein all the time,” Wilson said. “I was named after Jalen Rose, who was a member of the Fab Five, so I know all about Michigan basketball, and my mom loves Michigan. They produce great players in the NBA, and they’re a great program in the Big Ten. I love the coaches there. They really get to me and tell me where I’m at, how I will fit into the program, and how much they really want me. I really enjoy talking to them.”
