Michigan To Play Two-Year Series With Texas

According to CBS’ Jon Rothstein, Michigan and Texas will start a two-year basketball series over the next two seasons with next year’s game being in Ann Arbor.

Texas and Michigan will start a home-and-home series next season in Ann Arbor, sources told @CBSSports. Return game in Austin in 17-18.

Michigan defeated Texas 78-72 last year in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

Michigan's 2016-17 non-conference schedule includes games against Marquette (N), SMU/Pitt (N), VT (H), UCLA (A), Cincy (A), and Texas (H).
