No one has ever seen Jim Boehim freak out like this, and unfortunately it costed his team the game. After CJ Fair was called for a questionable charging call on what would’ve been a game-tying and-1, the longtime Syracuse coach lost his cool, telling the head official that the call was bullish*t several times before being thrown out of the game. It’s tough to see the #1 ranked Orange lose a game because of Boheim’s first real blowup of his career.
The call was questionable at best and could’ve easily gone either way. Here’s a gif of the play:
