Having entered his name into the transfer portal on Monday, FAU starting center Vlad Goldin could be one to watch for Michigan fans. Goldin, who averaged over 15 ppg and 7 rpg last season for the Owls, could follow Dusty May to Ann Arbor, On3’s Jame Shaw reports:
INTEL: Michigan made a splash last week when they hired Florida Atlanta head coach Dusty May. May coached the Owls to a Final Four last season and another NCAA birth this year after moving up to the American Athletic Conference. A central figure is all that was 7-foot-1 center Vladislav Goldin. One source recently told me there is a good chance that Goldin follows May to Michigan. Michigan has had trouble getting transfer players admitted, but Goldin entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer. Continue to watch timelines and visits here.
It’s also believed that FAU PG Johnell Davis, the co AAC-Player of the Year winner, will enter the portal soon:
Expecting Nelly Davis into the portal tomorrow, likely Alijah Martin as well.
