Gonzaga gave one student an opportunity to win $500 during the kick-off of ESPN’s Tip-Off Marathon, and in the most bizarre fashion (off the top of the backboard), the participant is walking away $500 richer. I’d say this shot was comparable to the $10,000 Kentucky gave to one participant for hitting a half-court shot.
