According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Chicago Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg has emerged as a legitimate option to take over for Thad Matta at Ohio State:

Hoiberg, who has had two less that stellar seasons with the Bulls (and hasthree years and $15 million left on his contract), previously coached at Iowa State where he led the team to an 115-56 record.
Hoiberg is denying the report:
