South Carolina head coach Frank Martin has been suspended one-game for his profane language directed at a player during a timeout during a loss with Florida. Martin, who previously coached at Kansas State, will miss Saturday’s game against Mississippi State. South Carolina is 11-and-19 on the year.
“The one-game suspension is a result of inappropriate verbal communication as it relates to the well-being of our student-athletes,” South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner said in a statement Thursday.
