John Beilein  – retired former coach

While likely a long shot as Beilein left Michigan to coach the Cavs due to issues with recruiting and roster management, it seems hard to imagine Beilein will want to deal with NIL and the transfer portal. However, there are some rumblings that Beilein could be so you never know. All Michigan fans know the history of Beilein, who was great at developing talent with a formidable offense.

Brian Dutcher – San Diego State

A former Michigan assistant under the Fab 5, Dutcher helped SDSU to the National Championship game last season. Hard to imagine that the Wolverines will go for another Fab Five member but we shall see.
