As you probably already know — a 16-seed has never beaten a 1-seed in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. ESPN columnist Pablo Torre thinks this is the year it will get done (he also picked 16-seed Southern University to upset 1-seed Gonzaga last year). Torre took to PTI to announce that Coastal Carolina was going to beat Virginia.
He explained his reasoning later on Twitter.

Why Coastal Carolina: 1) A 16 will eventually win + UVA's the weakest 1; 2) Year of Parity II; 3) Southern-Gonzaga was SO FUN; 4) #UmadVA;

5) We all live on a ball of dust hurtingly pointlessly through space

Everyone wants to be “The Guy” who finally picks the 16-seed upset, but this is just plain silly. Virginia is not losing to Coastal Carolina.
