With the Wolverines landing one of the best transfer portal classes in 2024, Michigan looks to be focusing on one more player. During the Detroit Grand Prix, Dusty May said the following:
“We’re almost done, we have one scholarship still open. We begin workouts and practices next week, so that’s when the fun begins.” — Dusty May on how his team/roster is coming together. https://t.co/cCRbuNreQj

According to Trilly Donovan, Michigan and St. Joe’s are in the best spot to land former FSU star G/F Jamir Watkins. Via College Sports Wire:
Dusty May is hard at work rebuilding the Michigan Wolverines after a disastrous end to the Juwan Howard era in Ann Arbor. The former Florida Atlantic coach has added quite a few pieces in the transfer portal, including bringing center Vlad Goldin from FAU and adding guards Tre Donaldson (Auburn), Roddy Gayle (Ohio State), and Rubin Jones (North Texas).
Watkins would be a major addition on the wing, giving the Wolverines length, scoring touch, and defensive chops on the perimeter as they look to get back in the mix in the Big Ten.
