Jon Rothstein has been tweeting about the upcoming Big Ten basketball season this morning. While still months away, here’s some predictions from the CBS Sports Insider for the upcoming season.
Rothstein tabbed Michigan’s Duncan Robinson as an ‘under the radar transfer’ candidate:
5 Under-the-Radar Big Ten Transfers: J. Brantley (MD), J. Hill (Purdue), D. Paul (Illinois), J. Van Zegeren (NW), D. Robinson (Michigan).

The 6-foot-8 Robinson, who transferred in from Williams College (DIII), will probably be Michigan’s best shooter next season and give John Beilein some roster flexibility with his height (6-foot-8).

Kam Chatman to have a breakout year?
5 Big Ten Breakout Guys: D. Uhl (Iowa), V. Brown (Wisconsin), K. Bates-Diop (OSU), K. Chatman (Michigan), L. Nairn (MSU).

Chatman initially was in Michigan’s starting lineup at the power forward position, but lost the job midway through the year after struggling on both ends of the floor. The 6-foot-8 Chapman, a former five-star recruit, averaged just under 4 ppg. while playing 15 minutes a game last year.
