Champion Baptists College is a small school in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and apparently not a very good basketball one. On Monday night, the team took on Southern, and at one point, trailed 44-0 (Breaking the previous record of 34-0).
The final score, 116-12, surprisingly, wasn’t an NCAA record. Clearly, however, the team that plays in the Association of Christian Athletic Colleges, and has no player over 6-foot-4, needs to stop playing Division-I teams (they lost by 50+ to Southeastern Louisiana, Mississippi Valley State, and New Orleans).
NCAA margin of victory record of 117 set in 1997 by Long Island is currently in jeopardy.
