Iowa State’s Fred Hoiberg has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Tom Thibodeau with the Chicago Bulls. Hoiberg’s #3 seed ISU team just lost in the first-round to #14 seed UAB. ESPN’s Bill Simmons took notice of the tournament’s first upset and started discussing the Bulls’ situation on Twitter and why they would want Hoiberg over Thibodeau.
The next Bulls coach just lost in Round One to a 14-seed. You might want to start sticking up for your boy Thibs, Chicago fans.

Simmons is referencing an article about the clash between Thibodeau and the Bulls’ front-office over Joakim Noah’s minutes-restriction.
If you want to keep Thibs, call out stories like this one. It's been happening for years. Pax did it to Vinny too. http://t.co/bhukUJZKeS

Simmons had a few more Chicago Bulls-related tweets over some good/bad moves the Bulls’ front-office have made over the past couple years.
Bulls let Korver and Asik go for nothing, traded 2 top-20 firsts for McDermott and gave away Deng for nothing in-season. Just sayin'.

Bulls also signed Pau, drafted Butler and smartly stashed Mirotic. Did some good things too. But Thibs is a great coach. Bad luck for 4 yrs.

If you don't want Thibs around, then fire him. Don't undermine him in the media, interfere with his coaching and hope he quits. That's BS.
