The stadium of the Detroit Tigers’ single A affiliate, the West Michigan Whitecaps, caught fire on a very cold Friday afternoon just after 11 o’clock according to MLive. According to reports, the fire broke out in one of the suites on the first-base side, and now has engulfed almost that entire side of the stadium. Scary scene but fire fighters are on the scene at Fifth Third Ballpark and no injuries have been reported.
