The deal between Michigan and Nike, which begins August 1st, is even bigger than originally reported. The total apparel deal is for 173.8 million ($169 was previously reported) and runs through 2027 with options to extend to 2031. [Read full release here]
Breakdown is as follows: Michigan gets $85 million in apparel/gear through 2031, $88.8 million in base pay (if deal is extended all the way)
