According to SheridanHoops.com, the Chicago Bulls along with several others teams (Miami Heat and Boston Celtics) are looking to land Sacramento Kings’ center DeMarcus Cousins. Here’s what Michael Scotto wrote about the potential Bulls offer:
As for Chicago, the Bulls are loaded with expendable frontcourt talent. Joakim Noah’s $13.4 million expiring contract and Taj Gibson are available, along with a young asset or draft pick. With former first-round pick Bobby Portis stuck behind a crowded frontcourt, Chicago is looking to clear a path for him to play more, one source said.
Cousins, 25, is currently averaging over 25 ppg. and 10 rpg.. The Bulls are currently in 2nd place in the East with a 14-and-8 record.
