It was reported about a week ago that Jeremy Pruitt, former Georgia DC, had interest in the Michigan defensive coordinator opening. Well, according to 247sports, things may be looking a bit more serious between the 41-year-old and the Wolverines, and a meeting may happen this Friday.

The former Florida State DC during their 2013 national championship team, Pruitt, is known as one of the best recruiters in the country. Five-stars Jacob Eason, Derrick Henry, Jalen Ramsey and Lorenzo Carter were just a few of the recruits Pruitt was the main recruiter for during his time at Georgia and previously Alabama.
Pruitt, who led the Bulldogs to a top ten defense nationally this year, was on Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama from 2007 to 2012. Many believe Pruitt will likely fill the Kirby Smart DC opening at Alabama.
